Global smartphone market revenue rose 7% year on year to a record $109 billion in the second quarter of 2026, despite lower shipments, as average selling prices climbed 17% to $400. Apple led with 49% revenue share, a second-quarter record, on 22% revenue growth and 13% shipment growth. Samsung followed with 16% share and 9% revenue growth. Xiaomi shipments fell 26% and revenue dropped 17%, while OPPO and vivo revenues declined 10% and 11% respectively. Supply constraints and rising component costs pushed vendors toward premium segments.
