On August 1, Shanghai Port handled 203,881 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) in a single day and night, setting a new all-time high. The figure surpassed the port's previous record of 187,312 TEU, set on June 9. The latest throughput represents a new peak for the port's daily container operations.
