The Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) Party Committee has outlined six priorities for the 15th Five-Year Plan period, focusing on cultivating a cluster of high-quality listed companies, channeling capital into new quality productive forces, supporting traditional industries and small and medium-sized enterprises, enhancing market resilience, deepening reforms including ChiNext and Shenzhen-Hong Kong cooperation, and strengthening regulatory enforcement against misconduct.
China's bulk asset transaction volume reached 121.2 billion yuan in the first half of 2026, up 76.2% from a year earlier, with first-tier cities accounting for 65.3% of the total. Domestic buyers dominated, contributing 97% of purchases, while foreign investors made up just 3%. The recovery was selective, driven by discounts on high-quality, cash-flow-generating assets, as buyers focused on rental yields and long-term returns rather than price appreciation.
