Audi China and SAIC Set Up Shanghai Innovation Center for Four New AUDI Models
Audi China and SAIC Motor have jointly established an innovation technology center in Shanghai, dedicated exclusively to the AUDI brand for the Chinese market. Its scope covers the full vehicle development process, from from product definition and platform engineering to systems integration.
Thehe two parties plan to develop four new AUDI models based on a next-generation advanced digital platform. The center will focus on electric vehicles, connected car technology, AI-powered cockpits, and driver assistance systems tailored to the Chinese market.
Audi China and SAIC will leverage the center to advance research and development of the relevant models. Specific launch dates for the vehicles have not yet been announced.
