Baidu's Apollo Go Robotaxis Launch on Uber Platform in Dubai with RT6 Fleet
Baidu's autonomous ride-hailing service Apollo Go has gone live on the Uber platform in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, deploying its sixth-generation RT6 vehicles. The fully electric, driverless taxis carry up to three passengers with 30-plus sensors for real-time environmental perception. Initially operating in parts of Umm Suqeim and Jumeirah, the service plans to expand its coverage area in the future.

The vehicles deployed are Apollo Go's sixth-generation RT6, a pure electric robotaxi purpose-built for fully driverless operations. Each vehicle can carry up to three passengers and is equipped with more than 30 sensors, enabling comprehensive awareness of the surrounding environment and real-time processing of onboard data.
During the initial phase of the service, the fully autonomous ride-hailing offering will be available in parts of Umm Suqeim and Jumeirah in Dubai, with plans to further expand the operating area in the future.
