The second-generation Blade Battery was released in March 2026. Its core specifications include a full charge in nine minutes at room temperature and low-temperature fast charging at minus 30 degrees Celsius, with energy density improved from the first generation. For flash charging, the Han EV can charge from 10% to 70% in five minutes and to 97% in nine minutes.
BYD plans to build 20,000 flash charging stations by the end of 2026, covering 325 cities nationwide. Cumulative sales for the first seven months of 2026 reached 2.2277 million vehicles, down from the year-earlier period.
