Cainiao VP Unveils Global Three-Day Delivery Network as Cross-Border E-Commerce Hits RMB2.84 Trillion in 2025

On September 6, the 7th Boshan Private Entrepreneur Summit was held in Shenzhen. Cainiao Group Vice President Niu Zhijing delivered a keynote speech introducing the company's cross-border logistics system aimed at achieving "global three-day delivery." In 2025, China's cross-border e-commerce imports and exports reached RMB2.84 trillion.

Cainiao operates approximately 170 chartered flights and cargo space arrangements per week, along with more than 2,300 trucking routes. The company applies artificial intelligence to cargo space allocation, image inspection, route sorting, and end-to-end real-time alerts. In customer service, traditional multilingual chatbot resolution rates had long remained below 5%. After AI digital employees were deployed to handle parcel tracking, delivery reminders, address changes, and claims, the resolution rate rose to 70%, while the average service cost per order fell by 40%.

In compliance, AI covers more than 100 security inspection image recognition categories, with automated image inspection accounting for over 70% of cases. Abnormal parcels can now be processed within hours. In security, 16 types of AI recognition algorithms have been deployed across more than 300 logistics facilities globally, with over 50% of high-risk incidents automatically detected and closed by AI. Extremely high-risk events, such as fires, are now handled within minutes.
