Chery has commenced pre-sales for its Fengon T7, offering three variants priced from RMB 109,900 to RMB 129,900. The model, developed over five years, features a body with 80% high-strength steel and 18.84% hot-formed steel. It delivers a CLTC range of 600 km, powered by a 65.05 kWh battery, and is equipped with the 8775 chip and advanced driver-assistance systems.

On August 12, Chery's Fengon T7 officially launched pre-sales, offering three variants with a pre-sale guidance price range of RMB 109,900 to RMB 129,900. The model's development cycle lasted five years, including two years of planning and three years of development. During development, 81 dedicated durability test vehicles were used for simultaneous road testing, with total cumulative test mileage exceeding 6 million km and dedicated durability testing reaching 1.45 million km. The test environments covered extreme climate conditions across multiple global regions, including Southeast Asia's rainy season, the Middle East's high-temperature exposure, and Indonesia's high humidity. The body structure uses 80% high-strength steel and 18.84% hot-formed steel, forming a nine-crossbeam, five-longitudinal cage body. The safety standard is designed to meet the 2026 E-NCAP five-star safety requirements, with functional safety achieving the highest ASIL D level. The vehicle is equipped with 9 airbags, including a 48L dual-chamber far-side airbag and rear side airbags. The battery system uses the Rhinoceros battery, with IP68 waterproof rating reaching 96 times the national standard. All variants come standard with a 65.05 kWh battery pack, providing a CLTC range of 600 km, while the measured range exceeds 667 km. The cockpit system is powered by the 8775 chip, delivering computing power of 72 TOPS. The central control features a 15.6-inch 2.5K resolution display, supporting CarPlay, HUAWEI HiCar, and CarLink connectivity. The Lingxi Smart Cockpit 2.0 system includes six human-like interaction modes and six scene modes, including rest, camping, pet, and refresh modes. The intelligent driving system is equipped with 22 high-precision sensors, including 3 millimeter-wave radars, 7 high-performance cameras, and 12 ultrasonic radars, supporting automatic parking in over 300 scenarios, including dead-end parking, cross-floor parking, and one-key reverse tracking.
