The vehicle features a second-generation blade battery and flash charging, delivering a pure electric range of 1,100 km and a full charge in 9 minutes. It comes standard with Tianyan 5.0, covering city and highway navigation and smart parking. BYD has built over 7,000 flash charging stations, aiming to cover 90% of urban areas within 5 km. Additionally, BYD announced full compensation for accidents caused by system failures during city navigation. In July, BYD sales reached nearly 420,000 units, up 22% year-on-year, with Denza contributing nearly 20,000.

On the evening of August 3, Denza officially launched pre-sales for the Z9S, offering three models: the Flash Charge Honor, Flash Charge Flagship, and Easy Three-way Flash Charge Performance. Pre-sale prices range from RMB 319,800 to RMB 389,800. The new car is equipped with a second-generation blade battery and flash charging technology, achieving a pure electric range of 1,100 km and a full charge in 9 minutes. The entire lineup comes standard with Tianyan 5.0, supporting city navigation, highway navigation, and smart parking in all scenarios.

BYD announced that, to date, more than 7,000 flash charging stations have been built nationwide. Future plans aim to achieve coverage of 3 km in first- and second-tier cities, 5 km in third- and fourth-tier cities, and 6 km in fifth- and sixth-tier cities, with 90% of urban areas within 5 km of a flash charging station. Flash charging highway stations will cover nearly one-third of highway service areas.

In May 2026, BYD announced it had become the world's only automaker to provide dual fallback for smart parking and city navigation. When users use city navigation in compliance, if an accident occurs due to system issues, BYD will fully compensate for direct economic losses such as vehicle repairs. BYD's total sales in July approached 420,000 units, up 22% year-on-year. Among them, Fangcheng Bao delivered 41,000 units, and Denza's monthly sales approached 20,000 units.
