Ganli Grants Menarini Exclusive License for Bofanglutide in Overweight and Obesity; Upfront 62 Million Euros
Ganli Pharmaceutical has recently concluded an exclusive licensing agreement with A. Menarini International Licensing S. A. (Menarini), granting Menarini the rights to marketing registration and commercialization of the company's self-developed Bofanglutide program for overweight or obesity indications within the licensed territory. Under the agreement, Menarini will pay Ganli a non-refundable upfront payment of 62 million euros, with cumulative research and development, marketing, and sales milestone payments reaching up to 664 million euros.
Following commercialization of the product within the licensed scope, Menarini will pay Ganli tiered royalties of up to a double-digit percentage of annual net sales.
