Geely Auto's July 2026 sales data showed total sales of 250,000 units, up 5% year on year. Sub-brand performance diverged sharply: Zeekr reached 36,000 units, up 111% year on year, while Lynk & Co sold only 16,000 units, down 40%, making it the only brand to post a decline in the month. For January-July, Geely's cumulative sales reached 1.673 million units, up 2% year on year, of which Zeekr rose 99% and Lynk & Co fell 11% to 160,600 units, the largest drop among all Geely sub-brands. Lynk & Co's year-on-year sales decline has widened month by month over the past four months, with drops of 18%, 25%, 28%, and 40% in April, May, June, and July 2026, respectively. On the domestic retail front, July sales were only 14,200 units, the lowest since March 2024. Geely set a full-year target of 400,000 units for Lynk & Co at the start of the year; with 160,000 units delivered in the first seven months, the brand needs to sell nearly 48,000 units per month on average over the remaining five months. Several of Lynk & Co's main models have shown a pattern of a brief post-launch surge followed by rapid sales decline. After the Lynk & Co 03 underwent its annual facelift in October 2025, monthly sales climbed to 5,000-6,000 units, held for about four months, then turned downward, falling to just over 2,300 units in July 2026. The Lynk & Co 10 EM-P launched in August 2025, with sales rising to over 6,000 units in its first four months before declining steadily, dropping below 2,000 units in July. The Lynk & Co 08 EM-P exceeded 10,000 monthly sales after its September 2023 launch before entering a downward trajectory four months later; despite a brief boost from subsequent annual updates, it sold only 1,829 units in July 2026. The flagship Lynk & Co 900, launched in March 2025, maintained monthly sales above 5,000 units within six months, peaking at 7,380 units, but sales slumped sharply from November 2025, falling to 679 units in July 2026. Geely Auto Group said China's auto market has shifted from an incremental growth phase to a stock and even shrinking competition stage. Lynk & Co has set a direction of broadening development: first, broadening its energy portfolio by covering petrol, hybrid, and pure-electric technology routes; second, broadening its product categories from entry-level models to the flagship 900 series. The brand will also enter new categories with niche and personalized models in the future.
