Geely Galaxy TT Launches at RMB 129,900, Tops 10,000 Orders in 15 Minutes
Geely's Galaxy TT went on sale on September 10, 2026, starting at RMB 129,900, with limited-time launch prices from RMB 129,900 to RMB 185,900. Firm orders exceeded 10,000 within 15 minutes, and pre-orders surpassed 20,000 in four days. Because the Xiaomi SU7 starts at RMB 219,900, a price gap of RMB 90,000, some consumers have called the Galaxy TT a "half-price Xiaomi."
The Galaxy TT is offered in five versions, with limited-time launch prices of RMB 129,900 to RMB 185,900. The entry version has a range of 640 kilometres, the 725-kilometre rear-wheel-drive flagship is priced at RMB 159,900, and the Ultra version, limited to 999 units, is priced at RMB 185,900. All versions come standard with a full-domain 800V high-voltage platform, CATL Shenxing batteries, an all-aluminium front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension, and a 16-in-1 intelligent electric drive system. The Shenxing battery supports 6C ultra-fast charging, adding nearly 500 kilometres of range in 11 minutes, and NP3.0 thermal-runaway protection is standard across the lineup. The Ultra version uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup and accelerates from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in 3.8 seconds; rear-wheel-drive versions have a 245 kW motor, accelerate from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in 6.5 seconds, and offer a maximum range of 725 kilometres.
The chassis was tuned with input from Lotus Engineering. The entire lineup uses a native pure-electric rear-wheel-drive layout and comes standard with FSD variable-damping suspension and hydraulic bushings, while the Ultra version carries an exclusive "HANDLING BY LOTUS" badge. The car completed a 46-kilometre continuous two-car drift on a wet surface, breaking the Guinness record held by the Porsche Taycan. On the intelligent-driving side, the Qianli Haohan assisted-driving H7 system introduces the WAM world behaviour model, lidar is standard across the lineup, and the EEA4.0 electrical and electronic architecture enables multi-domain coordination among intelligent driving, chassis and cabin systems. In terms of safety equipment, AEB supports stopping from 130 kilometres per hour, and after a tyre blowout the deflated tyre is locked within 0.175 seconds.
In terms of body dimensions, the Galaxy TT measures 4,999 by 1,919 by 1,479 millimetres, with a wheelbase of 2,920 millimetres and a drag coefficient of 0.22 Cd. It adopts a fastback profile with an active electric rear spoiler. High-frequency contact areas in the cabin are 100% soft-touch, and the car is equipped with a Flyme Sound 23-speaker audio system and a Low-e panoramic roof that blocks 99.99% of ultraviolet light.
The Leapmotor C16 was launched in 2024, with an official price of RMB 151,800 to RMB 181,800, while the Li Auto L8 starts at RMB 321,800. The Leapmotor C16 offers a six-seat layout and is nearly 5 metres long. Its range-extender version has 280 kilometres of electric-only range and 1,150 kilometres of combined range, while the pure-electric version comes standard with an 800V silicon-carbide platform and a 630-kilometre range. Lidar and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 cabin chip are standard across the lineup. In 2025, the Leapmotor C16 sold 78,060 units for the full year and ranked first in sales among mid-to-large SUVs priced under RMB 200,000 for 14 consecutive months. The Leapmotor D-series D19 and D99 have also been called a "half-price Li Auto" by some consumers.
Cumulative deliveries of the Xiaomi SU7 have exceeded 500,000 units, achieved in 28.5 months. Leapmotor's global sales reached 356,487 units in the first half of 2026, 1.5 times those of the runner-up. In July and August 2026, Leapmotor's monthly sales exceeded 100,000 units for two consecutive months. In May 2026, Leapmotor fully rolled out nationwide urban navigation-assisted driving to B-series models under the LEAP 3.5 architecture and 2026 C-series models equipped with lidar. Leapmotor's D-series flagship models carry dual Qualcomm 8797 chips with 1,280 TOPS of computing power and, together with a self-developed VLA large model, enable parking-space-to-parking-space navigation assistance across all scenarios.
In 2026, CATL became the sole cell supplier for Leapmotor's high-end D series, and the two companies jointly completed integrated battery-pack CTC chassis development and high-voltage platform matching and tuning. The pure-electric Leapmotor D99 is equipped with a 115 kWh CATL ultra-hybrid cell and has a CLTC range exceeding 720 kilometres; its range-extender version carries an 80.3 kWh dedicated range-extender battery with 480 kilometres of electric-only range. The Leapmotor D19 has already been unveiled.
