Geely Recalls 92,929 Vehicles to Replace Faulty Lidar Units

Zhejiang Geely Automobile Co. , Ltd. has filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation in accordance with the Regulations on the Administration of Recall of Defective Automobile Products and its implementing measures.

Effective August 24, 2026, the company will recall 18,878 Galaxy M9 vehicles produced between July 20, 2025 and October 26, 2025. Zhejiang Geely Automobile will carry out the recall by replacing the lidar units on all affected vehicles free of charge to eliminate the safety hazard.

Separately, effective the same date, the company will recall 74,037 Lynk & Co vehicles spanning the Lynk & Co 900, Lynk & Co 10 EM-P, Lynk & Co 07 and Lynk & Co 08 models, produced between January 8, 2025 and December 10, 2025. Zhejiang Geely Automobile has authorized Lynk & Co Automobile Sales Co. to implement the recall, with the same remedial measure of free lidar replacement. Owners will be notified through cloud-platform alerts and proactive outreach via the 400 customer service line to arrange in-dealership replacement; vehicles that have already had the component replaced will not require a second visit.
