It offers two versions, including a Neolun with suicide doors, and a First Edition. Power output reaches 490 kW (660 hp) with 800 Nm torque. Genesis, the luxury brand of Hyundai Motor, has launched its new flagship model, the GV90, a large all-electric SUV that seats up to seven passengers. The model represents a new design direction for Genesis and expands the luxury brand's US lineup to seven vehicles.

The GV90 is Genesis's fourth all-electric model in the US, with specific pricing to be announced closer to launch. Genesis has not disclosed whether the GV90 will also be offered with hybrid or petrol powertrains; the brand previously offered multiple powertrain options for models such as the GV70 SUV and G80 sedan.

The GV90 will be offered in two versions: the Neolun, featuring rear-hinged doors (also known as suicide doors), and a standard version with conventional outward-opening doors. Additionally, a 'First Edition' launch model will be available, featuring exclusive badges and luxury materials such as cashmere. Genesis said that although the Neolun version eliminates the B-pillar, the new body structure seamlessly integrates the doors with the body, maintaining the highest safety standards.

In terms of powertrain, the GV90 is equipped with a new high-performance electric motor system, delivering maximum power of 490 kW (approximately 660 hp) and peak torque of 800 Nm (approximately 590 lb-ft). Its exterior design features a through-type dual headlight assembly that meets at the center of the front, a design language previously previewed as a concept in 2024.

Genesis brand sales in the US market in the first half of 2026 totaled 39,088 vehicles, up approximately 5% from the same period a year earlier. The brand has recorded year-on-year sales growth for 22 consecutive months.
