Google has confirmed it will hold a major launch event on August 12, 2026, where it will officially introduce the next-generation Pixel smartphone series, a new smartwatch, and its first smart tracking tag. The official teaser video shows that the new Pixel phones retain a largely similar exterior design to the previous generation, with no major overhaul. A new hardware feature called 'Pixel Glow' embeds an RGB LED light in the rear camera module, used for notifications and status alerts.

On core performance, the Google Tensor G6 chip is manufactured using TSMC's 2nm process, making it the first smartphone chip to employ 2nm technology. FCC certification documents indicate that the new phones replace the Samsung Exynos baseband with a MediaTek M90 baseband, which supports satellite communication. On the software side, the devices come with an upgraded 'Gemini Intelligence' that offers multi-step task handling, visual context understanding, and agentic AI interactions.

Storage options drop the 128GB entry level, with both the standard and Pro models starting at 256GB. The Pixel 11 Pro's base RAM is reduced from 16GB to 12GB; users requiring 16GB must opt for the 512GB or higher storage tier. The foldable Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold features an 8-inch inner display and a 4,800mAh battery, slightly reduced from the previous 5,015mAh. It is offered in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage configurations, priced at $1,899, $2,019, and $2,249 respectively.

The Google Pixel Watch 5 retains the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear W5 Gen 2 chip and screen specifications, with case sizes of 41mm and 45mm and a thickness of 12.3mm. Battery capacity sees a marginal increase of about 10mAh. The Watch 5 deeply integrates Gemini Intelligence, offering pulse anomaly detection with automatic emergency calling and upgraded sleep tracking accuracy. Color options include Matte Black, Polished Silver, Satin Pyrite, and Champagne Gold. US pricing for all versions is $50 higher than the previous generation: the 41mm Wi-Fi and LTE models are $399 and $499, while the 45mm Wi-Fi and LTE models are $429 and $529.

Google is introducing its first hardware tracking device, the Pixel Tag, which works with the Find Hub device tracking network and supports UWB ultra-wideband technology for precise distance and direction measurement.
