On September 1, Hengrui Medicine launched its self-developed Class 1 innovative biologic, Shudi Insulin Injection (brand name: Ruihengying), on Ali Health. The drug is China's first domestically developed long-acting insulin analogue, indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes in adults.
The product went on sale just one month after receiving regulatory approval.
