Honor Announces Three-Year Imaging Strategy, Robot Phone with ARRI LogC3 Pre-Orders Top 200,000

At its imaging technology event, Honor disclosed a three-year strategic plan for its imaging business, divided into three phases: 'getting a seat at the table' in 2025, 'securing a position in the top tier' in 2026, and 'opening a generational gap' in 2027. On the hardware side, Honor will redesign sensors and self-developed ISP chips, solidifying core algorithms into hardware; on the software side, it will build a complete user creation ecosystem.
The Robot Phone, a new species of smart terminal and the first product from the joint development between Honor and ARRI, is scheduled for release on August 12, debuting the self-developed imaging chip 'Yuguang H1'. The phone is equipped with a three-axis mechanical gimbal camera, and in on-site stabilization demonstrations, it showed stability exceeding that of conventional smartphones. Since pre-orders opened on July 18, the Robot Phone has received over 200,000 pre-orders across all channels, surpassing all previous flagship products.
