Industrial Securities Launches Zhiji Wealth Brand as Client Base Tops 1.5 Million
Industrial Securities launched its wealth-management brand Zhiji Licai in 2025 under a buyer-side advisory strategy, with three sub-brands covering asset allocation, professional advice and digital services. In the first half of 2026, new clients exceeded 1.5 million, new-account market share reached a record 7.3%, brokerage commission income rose 71% and distribution income rose 69%. Zhiji Licai assets surpassed RMB 170 billion, with more than 72% of Xiangtou clients profitable and the Youtou portfolio returning an average 15.7%, beating the CSI 300 by over 8 percentage points.
In 2025, Industrial Securities launched Zhiji Licai as its flagship wealth-management brand under a buyer-side advisory strategy, supported by three sub-brands: Zhiji Xiangtou, Zhiji Youtou and Zhiji Zhitou. Xiangtou addresses asset allocation and portfolio holding, Youtou covers professional judgment and in-depth support, and Zhitou provides more timely and convenient service access. Together they span the client service process from asset allocation and professional consultation to online support, and are used for new-client conversion, reactivation of existing clients and value development of active clients.
The company shifted its client management from segmented, pipeline-style operations to ecosystem-style operations centered on client lifetime value. For newly opened accounts, it established a standardized new-client conversion path, using digital tools after account opening to complete risk assessments and identify capital attributes and investment objectives, then pushing the three service types by tier based on investment experience, investable funds and risk tolerance. For inactive existing clients, it identifies the reasons for dormancy through data tags and, combined with market conditions and risk appetite, sends market updates, account diagnostics and asset allocation plans, or arranges communication with an investment adviser. For clients with existing trading or allocation activity, it identifies changes in client lifecycle, asset scale and risk appetite based on account dynamics, encouraging clients to move among Xiangtou, Youtou and Zhitou.
For high-quality clients, Industrial Securities built a progressive closed loop of precise tiering, scenario penetration and in-depth management. On the expansion side, it established a data-driven identification mechanism, conducted themed outreach around high-value scenarios and identified clients through advisory salons, forming an expansion matrix by client group and scenario. On the service side, it built a dynamic operating loop centered on client lifetime value, relying on artificial intelligence client profiles and big-data models to track account activity, activation of advanced permissions, asset migration and changes in trading behavior, automatically identifying needs and providing allocation plans matched to risk tolerance and capital horizons, helping clients upgrade from single products to multi-asset allocation and from standardized services to personalized support.
In the first half of 2026, Industrial Securities added more than 1.5 million new clients, and its new-account market share reached 7.3%, a record high. Securities brokerage income, including seat fees, rose 71% year on year, while distribution income rose 69%. Over the same period, Zhiji Licai assets surpassed RMB 170 billion, more than 72% of Xiangtou clients achieved profits, and the Youtou portfolio returned an average 15.7%, exceeding the CSI 300 index by more than 8 percentage points. In internal performance evaluation, the company focuses more on client account experience, retention, reinvestment, product holdings, asset growth and client satisfaction. It also emphasizes the professional support capabilities of its investment advisory team.
