Lei Jun had breakfast that morning at the Shanghai time-honoured restaurant Dagui, accompanied by Xiaomi vice president Hu Zhengnan and other senior Xiaomi executives including Xu Jieyun and Li Xiaoshuang. He later appeared at Bilibili's Shanghai headquarters, where Chen Rui, Bilibili's chairman and chief executive, personally welcomed him. A large screen at the Bilibili Shanghai headquarters displayed words welcoming Lei Jun and played his video Are You OK. Chen Rui worked at Kingsoft in his early years and was designated by Lei Jun to serve as his technical assistant. Chen Rui has said publicly that Lei Jun has always been his teacher.
