Lingyi iTech Says Foldable Projects on Track for Mass Production Ramp
Lingyi iTech said at a results briefing held on September 15, 2026 that it supplies core precision components for a major customer's new-generation terminal products, covering hinge precision structural parts, screen support plates, ultra-thin vapor chambers and flanged ultra-thin stainless steel battery shell modules, among others. The per-unit value of these components is several times that of bar-type phones.
The company said its various foldable projects are currently progressing smoothly, and that mass production ramp-up and customer deliveries are advancing as planned in the third and fourth quarters of 2026.
In addition, the company said the per-unit value of its components for the major customer's other new phone models has also increased compared with the previous generation.
