Manulife Hong Kong Joins Insurtech GenAI Sandbox, BetterClaims AI Enhances Claims Experience
Manulife Hong Kong has been selected as a participant in the first cohort of the Generative AI (GenA. I.) Sandbox++ by the Insurance Authority. Its BetterClaims AI project will explore using GenA. to improve customer claims experiences, helping financial advisors provide accurate and timely answers to medical and critical illness claims inquiries.
Manulife Hong Kong announced that it has been selected as one of the participating institutions in the first cohort of the "Generative AI (GenA. I.) Sandbox++". Previously, Manulife Hong Kong had joined the Insurance Authority's "AI Enhancement Programme" and became one of the key participating insurers. In the insurance domain, Manulife Hong Kong's BetterClaims AI has been selected for the sandbox project, which explores how GenA. can be used to optimize the customer claims experience, assisting financial advisors in responding to medical and critical illness claims inquiries with greater accuracy and confidence, enabling timely answers.
