Mengniu Hosts Dairy Technology Conference in Dengkou, Unveils Ten Innovations and Nutrition Fund

The 2026 Dairy Technology and Nutrition Health Industry Innovation Conference was held on August 3, 2026, in Dengkou County, Bayannur City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, under the theme "Sharing Global Innovation, Driving Industrial Upgrading." Hosted by Mengniu Group, the conference brought together research and industrial partners to present a range of cutting-edge scientific achievements and announced the establishment of a medical nutrition innovation and transformation fund. Several national standards and industry white papers were also released at the event, aimed at advancing industrial upgrading in dairy technology and nutrition health.

During the conference, Mengniu Group officially unveiled ten major technological innovation achievements covering dairy deep processing, desert organic industry, precision manufacturing of native components, digital-intelligent production, dairy cattle seed industry, functional probiotics, maternal and infant nutrition, formula foods for special medical purposes, HMO biomanufacturing, and green packaging. Spanning from basic research to scaled application, these achievements address key links across the entire dairy industry chain and demonstrate the group's systematic approach to technological innovation.

The Peking University-Mengniu Group Medical Nutrition Innovation and Transformation Fund was established at the conference. Leveraging Peking University's medical research strengths and Mengniu's full industry chain transformation capabilities, the fund will support medical nutrition innovation research and the translation of findings into practice, deepening the integration of basic medicine and the dairy industry. The collaboration mechanism is designed to extend dairy applications from basic nutrition to medical nutrition, supporting precision nutrition supply.

Mengniu Group, together with the Inner Mongolia Academy of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Sciences, Zhongyuan Food Laboratory, China Dairy Industry Association, and China Inspection and Testing Society, jointly released the Ulan Buh Desert Organic White Paper. The white paper systematically documents Mengniu's 17 years of practice in the Ulan Buh Desert, presenting the complete "desert control, soil cultivation, grass planting, feeding, and production" chain of the desert organic industry system. In parallel, Mengniu and the China National Institute of Standardization released a series of national standards for sensory analysis, including three national standards for sensory analysis of dairy and dairy products and six supporting general standards, covering laboratory construction, personnel, analytical methods, and tools across the full process.
