Nubia NaviX Ultra Launches With Doubao Assistant, Priced From RMB 5,499

On September 16, 2026, the Nubia NaviX Ultra officially went on sale. The model carries the consumer version of the Doubao phone assistant and has been called the "second-generation Doubao phone." Unlike the first generation, this Doubao phone is being sold to the general public, with a starting price of RMB 5,499 after national subsidies.

Nubia says the NaviX Ultra can recognize voice commands to complete complex tasks, understand visual information, and remember users' preferences and habits. At the launch event, Nubia demonstrated the second-generation Doubao phone carrying out a series of operations in Feishu in sequence, including summarizing group messages, checking to-do items, and forwarding documents, as well as booking a ride to the user's office based on past memory. The event also showed that only a small number of third-party apps currently accept large-model API calls.
