Shanghai Jahwa disclosed its 2026 semi-annual results on the evening of August 19. In the first half, the company achieved revenue of RMB3.79 billion, up 9.0% year on year, and net profit of RMB380 million, up 43.4%. Net profit excluding non-recurring items reached RMB350 million, up 58.9%. The second quarter delivered stronger momentum, with revenue up 12.4%, net profit up 226.7% and non-recurring-adjusted net profit up 195.6% year on year. Gross margin rose 3 percentage points from the same period a year earlier, reflecting sustained full-chain efficiency gains and further consolidation of operating quality.

During the period, Shanghai Jahwa concentrated on its three core brands - Liushen, Herborist and Dr. Yu - unlocking growth through product innovation, iterative upgrades and brand building, while forming a differentiated brand matrix alongside its other labels. The company continued to advance proprietary R&D and collaborative innovation spanning industry, academia and healthcare. It completed registration filings for three proprietary new cosmetic ingredients - amentoflavone, osmundacetone and white-flesh Ganoderma extract - with the related self-developed active ingredients now used in new products under Herborist, Dr. Yu and Diancui. Since 2024, the company has filed eight ingredients in total.

Shanghai Jahwa further refined its efficiency-driven operating system during the reporting period. Offline operations adopted a precision-management approach, with coordinated optimisation across distributor, key-account and department store channels, expanded distribution networks, channel-specific product assortments and overseas business development. On supply chain capability, the company leveraged its DTC warehousing to achieve hour-level response, with tiered supply chain solutions ensuring routine fulfilment and peak-promotion delivery for hero products exceeding RMB100 million in sales.
