Tesla Cybercab to Feature Starlink Antenna, 375 Mbps Peak Speed; Musk Says All Future Models to Get It

Chief Executive Elon Musk places greater emphasis on the entertainment experience it enables, saying passengers can enjoy 4K ultra-high-definition video streaming while the Cybercab travels to its destination. During last month's earnings call, Musk stressed that the autonomous ride-hailing service must have communication support not dependent on ground-based mobile networks, noting that even in technology hubs such as Silicon Valley, there are areas with extremely poor or completely lost cellular signals. Therefore, in markets where Starlink coverage is available, Tesla vehicles will integrate the system.
Musk further clarified that all future Tesla models will be equipped with Starlink connectivity, calling it the only way to provide ultra-high bandwidth to billions of vehicles. The Cybercab currently uses a physical antenna built into the vehicle body for direct data transmission with the satellite network. Tesla has not yet disclosed the specific launch timeline for this feature on production vehicles, nor has it clarified whether the same hardware configuration will be rolled out to other existing models.
