Transfar Zhilian Completes First Trial Production of TF45E Rare-Earth Butadiene Rubber
Transfar Zhilian said on September 15 that El Nino-driven rubber output risks in Southeast Asia could affect downstream demand, with a wider price gap between natural and synthetic rubber potentially lifting demand for synthetic rubber. The company also said its TF45E easy-processing rare-earth butadiene rubber, used in multiple new energy tire components, recently completed its first trial production.
Transfar Zhilian said on September 15 on an investor interaction platform that, in response to issues related to the risk of rubber production cuts in Southeast Asia caused by El Nino, price fluctuations in natural rubber and synthetic rubber will have a certain impact on downstream demand. If natural rubber prices strengthen and the price gap with synthetic rubber continues to widen, this will to a certain extent expand downstream customers' demand for synthetic rubber.
On business progress, the company said that TF45E easy-processing rare-earth butadiene rubber, a key innovative product in its synthetic rubber business, recently completed its first trial production. The product is suited to production scenarios for multiple components of new energy tires.
