Xiaomi Open-Sources Xiaomi-Robotics-1 Embodied AI Foundation Model

Xiaomi announced on August 5, 2026, via its technology account, that it is open-sourcing Xiaomi-Robotics-1, its embodied intelligence foundation model. The release covers the complete workflow from real-robot post-training to model deployment, and includes code for related benchmark evaluations. The model was pre-trained on more than 100,000 hours of UMI data and subsequently trained on more than 10,000 hours of cross-embodiment data.

Xiaomi first introduced the model in July 2026, positioning it as an "out-of-the-box" embodied intelligence foundation model. The open-source release includes the project website, GitHub repository, and Hugging Face page links.
