Xiaomi's Lu Weibing Teases September 2026 Launch of Xiaomi 18 Pro Series
Xiaomi Group president Lu Weibing has said the Xiaomi 18 Pro series will launch in September 2026, calling it the company's largest upgrade yet. The Xiaomi 18 Pro and Pro Max, model numbers M154FF and M610BB, have completed network certification. Both support 100W fast charging, 2K-class displays, and Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen6 processor series. Lu said daily use of app cards on the rear screen exceeds 4 million times, with over 3.5 million wallpapers added per day.
Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group (01810), has said the new Xiaomi 18 Pro series will be released in September 2026. In a social media post, he said he would introduce the series progressively from September 15, 2026, and mentioned a new versatile rear screen. Lu said the "Smart Rear Screen" pioneered by Xiaomi, launched in 2025, is used more than 4 million times a day for various app cards, while more than 3.5 million rear-screen wallpapers are added per day. In 2026, a more advanced approach will be adopted to enrich the rear-screen experience.
The Xiaomi 18 Pro and Pro Max have completed network certification under model numbers M154FF and M610BB. Both models will support 100W fast charging and use 2K-class display solutions, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen6 series processors. The model numbers, charging specifications, display solutions, and processor platform information were disclosed together.
