XPeng G9L Launches with Six Variants, 800V Platform and 5C Fast Charging

XPeng (09868) announced the official launch of the XPeng G9L, offered with super-extended-range and battery-electric powertrains across six variants, with limited-time prices starting at RMB 231,800. Exterior colours include Provence Purple, Tuscany Green, Everest White, Fjord Grey and Polar Night Black. The model features front and rear continuous light bars made up of 480 LED beads, with a fastback rear profile.

Inside, the G9L debuts an intelligent four-motor executive centre console that opens a small table via voice, button or screen, and self-levels with the seat backrest. For intelligent driver assistance, the G9L debuts a new version of the second-generation VLA. The Max version is the first to carry the Turing AI driving distillation edition, featuring a 30-second effective time sequence and, for the first time, incorporating memory into driving decisions. The X-Foresight world prediction model can project environmental movement trajectories six seconds ahead, while end-to-end response speed rises by 300%. All variants carry Turing AI chips, with maximum computing power of 2,250 TOPS.

In terms of powertrain, the G9L comes standard across the range with an 800V high-voltage platform and 5C fast charging. Extended-range versions are all-wheel drive, with 435 kilometres of electric range and 1,602 kilometres of combined range. The battery-electric version offers up to 755 kilometres of range, with all-wheel drive available. Prices are: battery-electric 702 Max at RMB 231,800; 660 all-wheel-drive Ultra SE at RMB 249,800; super-extended-range 1,602 all-wheel-drive Ultra SE at RMB 249,800; 660 all-wheel-drive Ultra at RMB 279,800; super-extended-range 1,602 all-wheel-drive Ultra flagship at RMB 299,800; and 755 all-wheel-drive Ultra flagship at RMB 309,800.
