2026 World Manufacturing Convention Set for Hefei, Showcasing 946 Projects Worth Over RMB 400 Billion

The 2026 World Manufacturing Convention is scheduled to take place in Hefei from September 20 to 23. The convention will spotlight emerging sectors such as intelligent connected new-energy vehicles, next-generation information technology, and artificial intelligence, as well as future industries including quantum technology, embodied intelligence, and bio-manufacturing. Domestic and international academicians and industry leaders have been invited to exchange views on frontier technology trends and industrial transformation.

During the event, the convention will release the Annual Report on Industrial Foundation Development (2025–2026) and the Manufacturing Digital Transformation Capability Level (2026), providing data support and practical insights for the global manufacturing sector. To date, organizers have preliminarily identified 946 cooperation projects with a combined investment exceeding RMB 400 billion. Additionally, based on each city's industrial foundation and resource advantages, participating guests will be arranged to visit representative enterprises and industrial parks across various cities, aiming to facilitate a number of substantive and actionable cooperation projects.
