Apple officially launched its first foldable phone, the iPhone Duo, at its autumn launch event. The product adopts an eSIM-only design worldwide.
China Unicom said domestic eSIM phone sales reached 1 million units in the first half of 2026. eSIM, or embedded SIM, is a virtual SIM technology that can be downloaded to mobile devices over a network. It requires only a small chip embedded in the phone, with no physical SIM card, thereby saving physical space in smartphones and helping manufacturers achieve thin and light designs.
Xinhenghui has successfully developed ultra-thin plastic packaging and multi-chip stacked packaging technologies for IoT eSIM packaging and testing. Its automotive-grade products and high-end packaging technologies are gradually entering mass production. Dongxin Heping cooperates with multiple mainstream chip manufacturers at home and abroad in the eSIM field and offers eSIM hardware products covering consumer, industrial, and automotive grades.
