In the first half of 2026, the value-added output of China's above-designated-size electronic information manufacturing industry increased by 14.8% year on year, 9.4 percentage points and 1.5 percentage points higher than the growth rates of the overall industrial sector and high-tech manufacturing, respectively. In June, the value-added output of the above-designated-size electronic information manufacturing industry rose 15.7% year on year.
Among major products, output of industrial robots reached 538,000 sets, up 28.0% year on year; new energy vehicle output totaled 7.399 million units, up 6.0%; and integrated circuit output reached 279.8 billion units, up 23.1%.
