iPhone 18 Pro Series and Foldable iPhone Case Models Leak Ahead of September 9 Event

Case manufacturers have recently produced engineering models corresponding to the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a foldable iPhone to confirm case compatibility. The overall form of the iPhone 18 Pro series is largely consistent with the previous iPhone 17 Pro series, with dimensions measured by calipers matching the 2025 flagship models.

The foldable iPhone model is highly complete, featuring a working hinge, pressable physical buttons, and a refined camera platform. The camera protrusion is noticeable, and because the device itself is thin, the camera platform is slimmer than that of the iPhone Air. In terms of button layout, when unfolded, the volume keys are positioned on the upper right side, the power button and camera control key are on the right edge, and the USB-C port is located at the lower left in the unfolded state. A crease is visible in the center of the inner display, but Apple is said to have improved this issue on the actual product, and the model's crease does not represent final performance.

When folded, the corners on the hinge side are relatively sharp, while the two corners on the opposite side feature a rounded design. The outer screen is moderately sized, allowing one-handed operation to reach all four corners; the inner screen is slightly smaller than the iPad mini, making it suitable for split-screen applications. When unfolded, the thickness is roughly equivalent to that of the iPhone Air, but the display area is larger.
