Sodium-Ion Swap Tractor Listed in MIIT 410th Batch; Consumption Tax Exempt from September 2026
The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has officially published the 410th batch of Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products, which includes the sodium-ion battery swap tractor jointly developed by Zhongke Haina and FAW Jiefang. The model is the first heavy truck under FAW Jiefang to be equipped with sodium-ion power batteries. Starting September 1, 2026, sodium-ion batteries will be exempt from consumption tax.
