China's Ten Departments Issue Measures to Boost Recreational Vehicle Consumption
China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the National Development and Reform Commission and eight other departments issued measures to promote recreational vehicle consumption, forwarded by the State Council General Office. The measures call for improving RV supply quality, encouraging new energy RVs, raising intelligence and green standards, accelerating safety standards for whole vehicles and key system components, supporting retrofitting of energy storage and living facilities, and expanding financial products and services for RV consumption.

The measures propose improving the quality of recreational vehicle supply, encouraging companies to develop and design products suited to user needs, and enhancing the RV experience and comfort to meet diverse and personalized consumer demand.
The measures also call for encouraging the development of new energy recreational vehicles and raising the level of intelligence and green performance of RVs. They call for accelerating research and formulation of standards for whole-vehicle safety and important system components, supporting the retrofitting and modification of RV energy storage and living facilities, and improving product safety performance and quality.
The measures propose improving financial products and services related to recreational vehicles and promoting multi-channel support for RV consumption by financial institutions.
