InnoCare Pharma’s TYK2 Inhibitor ICP-488 Meets Primary Endpoint in Phase III Psoriasis Study
InnoCare Pharma announced that its novel TYK2 inhibitor Fadeucravacitinib (ICP-488) met the primary endpoint in a Phase III registrational study for moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. The randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter trial showed highly statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement, with consistent benefits across multiple secondary endpoints. Safety results were consistent with prior studies, with no new safety signals identified. Detailed data will be presented at international medical conferences or published in peer-reviewed journals.
InnoCare Pharma announced that its novel, internally developed TYK2 inhibitor Fadeucravacitinib (ICP-488) met the primary endpoint in a Phase III registrational clinical study for the treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. The study was a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multicenter registrational trial designed to evaluate the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of Fadeucravacitinib in patients. Results showed that the study achieved its primary endpoint with highly statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvement, while multiple secondary endpoints also demonstrated consistent and significant therapeutic effects. In terms of safety, the results were consistent with previous clinical studies, with no new safety signals identified. Detailed efficacy and safety data will be presented at international academic conferences and/or published in international academic journals.
Fadeucravacitinib is an oral, highly selective TYK2 allosteric inhibitor. By specifically binding to the TYK2 JH2 domain, it blocks the signal transduction of inflammatory cytokines such as IL-23, IL-12, and type I interferons, thereby inhibiting the pathological processes of autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. Currently, the indications under development include autoimmune diseases such as psoriasis, cutaneous lupus erythematosus, and Sjögren's syndrome.
Psoriasis is an immune-mediated disease in which systemic inflammation leads to raised, scaly plaques on the skin. The typical clinical manifestation is scaly plaques that may be localized or widespread, and the disease is relatively difficult to treat.
